So lovely to finally "meet" you ;) What always fascinates me is the different ways we human beings take care of our well being. There are as many ways as there are human beings really. And I'm so glad you are here sharing your way because you just never know who needs to hear your words. So thank you for that! Also, right there with you joining the 40 club later this year. Like you, I am at peace with it. Funnily, I was more scared to turn 20 than 30. With 40, I'm actually looking forward to it as I sense a deep shift happening. Age is a funny old thing we tend to always obsess over, isn't it?

I’m also in the ‘turning 40’ club this year! I’d love to go to the wilds of Northumberland one day. I do like Newcastle though, but haven’t been for about 25 years 😂🙈 It’s so lovely to read more about you 🙌
Nice to ‘meet’ you Claire. I retired last year and am looking forward to growing my Substack. I write about places I visit here in the UK. I now have more time to spend with my little grandson too!

What a beautiful post and I was so enchanted to read about your journey with horses. I rode up to the age of about 11.
