So lovely to finally "meet" you ;) What always fascinates me is the different ways we human beings take care of our well being. There are as many ways as there are human beings really. And I'm so glad you are here sharing your way because you just never know who needs to hear your words. So thank you for that! Also, right there with you joining the 40 club later this year. Like you, I am at peace with it. Funnily, I was more scared to turn 20 than 30. With 40, I'm actually looking forward to it as I sense a deep shift happening. Age is a funny old thing we tend to always obsess over, isn't it?
So lovely to read this this morning Claire... thanks for your gorgeous introduction. 🌻Your cockapoos are so cute... bet they love your garden, though I hope they're not diggers like my cocker spaniel! 🐾
I’m also in the ‘turning 40’ club this year! I’d love to go to the wilds of Northumberland one day. I do like Newcastle though, but haven’t been for about 25 years 😂🙈 It’s so lovely to read more about you 🙌
Nice to ‘meet’ you Claire. I retired last year and am looking forward to growing my Substack. I write about places I visit here in the UK. I now have more time to spend with my little grandson too!
Helllo, what a lovely introduction thank you for sharing. I am so inspired by your words about gardening, the process as much as the result, definitely something for my chaotic mind and that of my toddler.
Ah thank you so much. I mean of course I love when the garden looks pretty but taking the pressure away and just focusing on each individual task is a game changer.
I've just subscribed, but I already feel like I know you! :) I'm excited to read more of your posts. I too love gardening and find it healing in so many ways. Thank you for sharing your story!

Oh absolutely. I know what you mean about the deep shift. I feel that too.
Yeah, it's definitely a collective shift on an individual level. Sending you love. ❤️

Ah thank you. Luckily not anymore!
🤣🤣
Nice to see you on Substack.
Lovely to read love! I was 50 this year and it’s even better than 40! Glad you are finding ways to share yourself here xx
Ah thanks Sarah x
What a beautiful post and I was so enchanted to read about your journey with horses. I rode up to the age of about 11.
I’d like to circle back to being with them in some way this decade and knowing that feels so special. ✨ 🐎✨
I miss being around them although not so much the riding side. I just enjoy being in their company, they’re such beautiful animals. ❤️
Same

Thanks David, and lovely to see you on here. I think you’d love Northumberland ☺️

Ah how old is your grandson?
Just coming up to 30 months.
A lovely age. So curious about everything ☺️
