It’s wonderful to see everything springing to life again isn’t it? 🌻 I’ve been amazed how many of my pots have survived the winter if I’m honest. 🌱

It finally feels like spring is properly here. I think I missed out by failing to plant tulips so my garden hasn’t really had much in the way of flowers until now. A lot of my pots are full of annuals that I’ve grown from seed so they’re doing well but a long way off flowering just yet. What do you have growing in yours?

I don’t really have flowers, prefer lots of green stuff like palms, bamboos , olive trees and herbs

Sounds gorgeous. I’m working on more evergreens for through the winter. It gives a bit of joy on those very bleak winter days x

That sounds like a lovely offering! In early May each year we look at the garden and think that maybe things won’t come back, so we need a trip to buy more plants and then, lo! It all springs back up. I would love to get some bulbs in this year but our hardy perennials put on a show for most of the late spring and summer. Enjoy your weekend Claire! X

The penstemon might not have though... still might need a trip to the garden centre ;)

Lovely post Claire! I have lots of forget-me-nots, aquilegia, foxgloves and a few alliums in my garden too. The aquilegia are purple mainly but there's a beautiful red one that appears just over the fence in my next door neighbours' garden. 🥰

Oh gorgeous. We don’t have any other gardens that neighbour ours so we don’t get to “borrow” neighbours plants ☺️
