What a beautiful title! Always excited to read your garden updates. This week has been about observing. I have no clue about when to start planting anything other than I know I’ll pot up my dahlias inside next month... still focussed on the soil and *might* have some funding for a re design of our allotment garden to en corporate community access to worm hotels and hot composting bins so EXCITED for if that comes off. I thought I’d sketch out the trajectory of the sun today and see what lessons she has for us...

Wow Claire that’s so exciting!

I’ll be doing dahlias next month too. Sweet peas are good to sow now if you’re doing them. Anything else I’m waiting because the time between sowing and actually getting them in the garden was so long last year!

Ooo I’ll have a look and see if I have any sweet pea seeds thanks!

The secret door is already looking so magical. Can't wait to see how it'll turn out. As for living in the waiting, I resonate. However, I did notice yesterday how the days have magically started to be a little bit longer. This excites me, this noticing of the dark tide turning here in the present moment.

Thank you. I’m excited to see how it turns out too. I’m noticing the days feeling a tiny bit longer and it makes me very happy. Even managed to take a (quick) cup of tea outside a couple of times this week.

Can't wait to see the progress of the magical door! Also, your grass seeds... the grass looks like it has a slight pink tinge to it? Is that true? If so I think I would love to plant some of those seeds in our garden too. A great way to fill a bit of border space and adding some different textures to the garden. Lovely post Claire x

Thank you. Yes those grass seeds do seem to have a pink tinge. They are Stipa Tenuissima and grow to around 60cm. I’ve not grown them before but hoping for success. x
